I have always lived in the North west of England and currently stationed in Manchester. What a great place to live, apart from the dreadful weather. I think most weeks my girlfriend Polly asks me if we can move to Australia. Its always the same answer! Obviously … I can’t move, how would my current patients come for their 6 monthly check and catch up.
So keeping fit and healthy has always been really important to me. Eating well and going to the gym are definitely some form of hobby / addiction.
I love travelling to new countries and have made a promise to myself that I would go to a new destination every year. Rome was one of the recent city breaks that I travelled to and is a definite one to tick off your bucket list. Especially if you love pasta as much as i do.
My other real passion in life is horse riding. Horses have always been a part of my life since I was 5 years old. I spared you the funny looking picture of me with a bowl cut hairstyle on a really small welsh pony. An interesting fact about my journey in horses is that I have met Queen Elizabeth II, after competing on one of her horses. I’m still lucky enough to have a horse at my family home near Ormskirk.
My feelings towards work, hobbies and life in general have always been the same. Be passionate about what you do, and do what you do because it makes you feel good.
